Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy at Walt Disney World Resort

Disney PhotoPass photos, dining photos, attraction photos and other digital content in your account will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken. If you would like to extend the expiration date to 60 days from the date the photo was taken, you may purchase an expiration extension. All photos in your account as of the day the expiration extension is purchased will now expire 60 days from the date the photo was taken (instead of 45 days).

Expiration dates of photos may only be extended once.

Disney does not offer options for permanent storing of photos or other digital content. Expired photos and other digital content will be deleted from the system.

To view the expiration date of a photo, select the photo from the Media Gallery to preview the enlarged photo. The date the photo was taken and the expiration date of the photo will display beneath the enlarged photo.

Please note that the individual expiration date for each photo may vary. Disney reserves the right to not upload photos which are deemed to be of poor quality and/or contain content that might be deemed to be offensive.

Expiration Extension

If you need more time, you may purchase a one-time 15-day extension for the Disney PhotoPass photos, dining photos, attraction photos and other digital content in your account access the Products page for Walt Disney World PhotoPass and select the Expiration Extension product. Upon completion of your purchase, your expiration date will be set to 60 days from your original taken or capture date of the photo. Your new expiration date will display on your photos when you view them one-by-one.

Disney Premier, Disney Platinum Plus, Platinum, or Gold Annual Passholders

If you are a Disney Premier Annual Passport holder or Disney Platinum Plus, Disney Platinum, or Disney Gold annual passholder, all photos and other digital content associated with your Disney account that were taken at Walt Disney World Resort (and Disneyland Resort, if applicable) by Disney PhotoPass photographers, as well as photos and other digital content taken on select attractions and at select dining locations, while your qualifying annual pass is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park will be available for download until they expire 365 days after they are captured.

All photos or other digital content, as available, captured before or after the period that your qualifying annual passport is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken.
