Tips for Using Your Dining Plan
Keep the following in mind when visiting a participating location:
- Once at your dining location, just let your cashier or server know you are using a dining plan and your meals will be redeemed as you go.
- For special dietary requests, please speak to a Cast Member upon arrival.
- If using the dining plan, Guests ages 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu, where available.
- If you’re dining with another party that’s also on a dining plan, please notify the server or cashier which meals should be redeemed on each valid Disney Resort ID.
- Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day-to-day and expire at midnight on day of checkout.

- Answer<p>Use your dining plan to get prepaid meals and snacks during your Walt Disney World holiday. Disney Dining Plans can be purchased as part a package that includes a room with the Disney Resorts Collection.</p>
- Answer<p>Your dining plan includes a certain number of meals and snacks per night of your stay. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on day of checkout. Meals and snacks are non-transferable.</p><p><strong>To track the meals and snacks on your dining plan, you can: </strong></p><ul><li>Use the My Disney Experience app*. Visit the “My Resort Stay” section, then select “Check Dining Plan” to view the status of your meals and snacks—total issued, already redeemed and still available.</li><li>Check your most recent dining receipt.</li><li>Visit the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or any Guest Relations location, where you can ask a Cast Member about your remaining meals and snacks.</li></ul>

While dining plans are flexible, dining plans are only accepted at select Walt Disney World restaurants and food service locations.</p><p>When you <a href="/en-eu/dine-res/">make dining reservations online</a>, you’ll have the option to only show restaurants that accept dining plans. Before you confirm your reservation, please check to ensure that the location accepts your dining plan.</p>
- Answer<p>No. Gratuities are not included, except at <a href="/en-eu/dining/cabins-at-fort-wilderness-resort/hoop-dee-doo-musical-revue/">Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue</a>, <a href="/en-eu/dining/magic-kingdom/cinderella-royal-table/">Cinderella’s Royal Table</a> and for <a href="/en-eu/dining/grand-floridian-resort-and-spa/private-dining/">Private Dining at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa</a>. Please note that:</p><ul><li>An additional form of payment is needed if you add gratuity and have not provided a credit card at check-in to charge incidentals and other expenses to your room.</li><li>An 18% gratuity will automatically be added to your bill for parties of 6 or more.</li><li>An automatic gratuity charge may also be added to your bill for certain items you order that are not included in a dining plan.</li></ul><p>Merchandise or photo-imaging products that may be offered at Character Dining experiences are also not included.</p>
Important Details
- Plan must be purchased for entire length of stay and for the entire party (ages 3+).
- The specific number of meals and snacks are determined by the number of nights included in the package stay. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day-to-day and expire at midnight on day of checkout. Meals and snacks are nontransferable between party members.
- Each Guest age 3 and up will receive a Resort-Refillable Drink Mug, which is eligible for refills at self-service beverage stations at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel quick-service location.
- Theme park admission is required for some dining locations. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and may be required at some table-service restaurants participating in the dining plan. Operating hours, menus, Characters, entertainment, participating locations, components and terms are subject to change without notice.
- Once at your dining location, just let your cashier or server know that you are using a dining plan and your meals will be redeemed as you go. Your remaining meals and snacks will be printed on each receipt, and available in your My Disney Experience mobile app to help you track the remainder of your plan.
- If using the dining plan, Guests ages 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu, where available.
- Several beverage options are also included with each dining plan meal. Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Guests 21 and older with valid ID may substitute for beer, wine or cocktails.
- Dining plan meals and snacks are based on the number of nights of your package stay at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
- Excludes gratuities.
- Dining plan locations are subject to change without notice or liability.
- Dining plan meals and snacks are not sold separately, are nonrefundable, nontransferable and have no cash value.
